The RockHouse water jacking system

Updated: Oct 16, 2019

No doubt you have seen many two-storey houses. You have most-likely seen a construction site where two-storey houses are being created. You might even have lived in a two-storey house.

You have probably noticed that features like the gutters, the television antenna and the solar panels are a considerable height above the ground on a two-storey house.

There is also the possibility that you have been involved in building a two-storey house.

Well, imagine the benefits of forming the roof and the upper floor almost entirely at ground level?

Technology from RockHouse has made this exciting idea a reality.

Water is used because it is non-hazardous and any spillages are environmentally harmless.

Processes evolve. The construction industry boasts a proud tradition of innovation and efficiency improvements. RockHouse has now taken things to a whole new level.

The revolutionary convenience of being capable of building at ground level means that cranes and hoists are not required. Inefficient double-handling procedures are eliminated and time is saved. The precious safety of workers is greatly enhanced by not operating at heights.

How is all of this now possible?

The RockHouse water jacking system lifts an entire upper storey into place.

Build at ground level and then using water jacks, raise into position at the exact height required.

The second storey floor and roof are quickly and safely raised to height by lightweight aluminium jacks.

The jacks are hydraulically powered by water which is pumped by inexpensive commonplace water pressure blasters. The blasters are plugged into a simple electrical control box so they all start and stop together.

...simple in its concept and execution yet remarkable in its plentiful and powerful benefits.

Each lift takes less than ten minutes to complete. Each jack uses less than 20 litres of water. Water is used because it is non-hazardous and any spillages are environmentally harmless.

Building a two-storey house using the innovative RockHouse process is a sight to behold. The process is simple in its concept and execution yet remarkable in its plentiful and powerful benefits.
